Melanie is a retired school teacher. She had a stressful job that she felt was reflected in her face. She underwent a facelift, a lower lid blepharoplasty, a tip rhinoplasty, and a chin augmentation. The change did a lot for her sense of well being.

Alex is a very athletic 60 year old. He spends a lot of time outdoors in all seasons, so his face has “weathered” the effects. He particularly disliked the hollow look in his cheeks. He wanted a facelift that would appear very natural. His scars were confined to the area around the ears to minimize visibility. His facelift is called a vertical or “S” facelift. His picture is at one month following surgery.

Ruth retired when she was 65. Now with more time available she leads an active life. Ruth objected to the tired look in her face. 25 years ago she had a blepharoplasty and was pleased with how that had lasted her well over time. She wanted to have her face and neck improved. Ginny’s only son was getting married in the summer. A big celebration was planned. Ginny wanted her face to show her pride and happiness, rather than looking grumpy when she did not feel that way. She did not want her sisters to criticize her for making this choice for herself and she wanted to look appropriate for her age of 67. A facelift and upper lid blepharoplasty really made her feel good about her appearance at this important occasion.

Rosalind had a facelift at 45. At 60 she was noticing heaviness in her cheeks and chin. A revision of her prior surgery retightened sagging cheeks and gave her better neck definition.

Lower Lid Blepharoplasty
Bernice had a lower lid blepharoplasty to get rid of the bags beneath her eyes. Her photos are taken 6 months after surgery.

The neck does not lie. Terri, at 54, disliked how her jaw line and neck were beginning to show aging. Her mother had a facelift 10 years ago with good longterm results. Terri wears her hair short and wanted minimal scarring. A "vertical"facelift avoided a neck scar and gave her a much fresher, warmer appearance.
Chin Augmentation
Kate has a small chin relative to her lovely cheekbones and prominent eyes. The small chin makes her neck look older than she is. She had an improvement of her profile with a chin enlargement and liposuction of the soft tissues beneath her jaw.

Joe is a 63 year old that retired early from his high pressure business. He is enjoying his new leisure, working out regularly and playing basketball with men twenty years his junior. He wanted to have a change that makes him look more like the age he feels and looks natural. He is shown three months after his “S” facelift lift and a blepharoplasty. His teammates were none the wiser and he still has a mean jumpshot.

Anne is 58. She had been getting better about diet and exercise and had dropped 15 lbs. She was frustrated that her face did not look any different. She had a facelift and a blepharoplasty. She liked that her eyes did not appear so sad and that she could see her chin and jaw for the first time in years.
Chin Augmentation
At 58, Anita did not like how her jaw line and chin were aging. She had loose skin that made her jaw line less distinct. The skin in the middle of her chin had dimples and her lip turned out at the bottom. After a facelift and a chin augmentation her face looked more balanced, her lip was supported and she had a clearly defined jaw and neck.

Anne turned fifty this year. She is a personal trainer and works with people that are 10-15 years younger than she is. She is self conscious about being a “Baby–Boomer” in an environment of “Gen X”ers. She wanted an improvement of her neck and jaw line. Visible scars behind her ears were a concern because she wears her hair up most of the time. Anne chose an short scar facelift, sometimes called the “S” lift or vertical facelift. She is now two months after surgery and has renewed confidence and energy.

Chin Augmentation
Colleen is the mother of two young kids. At 48, she noticed that she was developing the family neck line. She had a small chin and extra skin in the neck and early jowl formation. Liposuction and a chin augmentation gave her a more balanced profile, got rid of the excess tissue in the neck, and made her jaw line more distinct.

This 54 year old likes to ski in the winter and boat in the summer. Her athletic lifestyle has resulted in a lot of sun exposure and facial aging that does not match. She chose to have a facelift, blepharoplasty, chin augmentation and lipostructure of her lips. Her postoperative picture is shown at three months.

Chin Liposuction
Judith inherited the family double chin. At thirty six she decided to have liposuction of the chin and neck area. It made a huge difference in the definition of her jaw line. No more need for turtlenecks to hide it.

Susan is a 42 year old that had a hollow area on the left side of her face due to a former surgical procedure. She drew unwanted attention with this dent. Fat transfer from her abdomen balanced the contour with her right side. Her confidence was elevated after its restoration.

Rhinoplasty
Alicia’s nose seemed to get crooked by adolescence. She could not remember if she had injured it as a child. There was a bump on the left side and her nostrils were uneven. She did not want a radical change in facial appearance, but she did want to have both sides of her nose match. Her rhinoplasty got rid of the bump on the bridge of her nose, straightened the midline, made her tip more delicate and restored balance of her nostrils.

ME is 47. Extra skin in her upper eyelids interfered with playing baseball because it could block her peripheral vision when playing in the outfield. She didn’t like looking tired when she was energetic. An upper and lower lid blepharoplasty opened her visual field as well as her appearance. Her postoperative picture is at 4 months.

At 50, A.G. thought that her face made her look angry. She considered limited surgical and non surgical options, but after discussing pros and cons selected a full facelift, blepharoplasty and chemical peel. At her last visit to the dentist’s office she was told that she looked younger than when they saw her in November. Her reply, “Thanks, my mother had great skin!” She won’t reveal her secret weapon unless asked.

Otoplasty
MJ was born with prominent ears. Her beautiful long hair was good to hide them, but MJ wanted to eliminate this source of self consciousness. An otoplasty, or ear "tuck" allowed her ears to rest in a more natural position, closer to her head.
